Mid-Atlantic Severe Storms; Western Heat and Fire Weather Threats

A frontal system will produce a line of strong to severe thunderstorms with potential for damaging winds, hail, and locally heavy rain in the Mid-Atlantic and into the Northeast. Isolated storms may develop in the High Plains and Upper Midwest. Dangerous heat and critical fire weather threats will develop across the Southwest and Great Basin.
