Persistent Heavy Rain in the Pacific Northwest; Heavy Lake Effect Snow

The soggy Pacific Northwest will receive additional heavy rain that could cause flooding and isolated landslides. Areas of snow will be possible from the Great Lakes to the Northeast and into the Mid-Atlantic as a storm that originated in Canada moves eastward. Heavy snow may develop downwind of Lake Erie.
