It was formerly a census-designated place located in the extraterritorial jurisdiction of Sugar Land and in unincorporated Fort Bend County. The population was 11,538 at the 2010 census, up from 6,640 at the 2000 census. It was annexed into the cities of Sugar Land on December 12, 2017.
